It is our goal to help each person with their continued growth throughout these life changing experiences while giving each one hope, strength, faith, love and compassion. We want to make sure each person knows that their life and greatness awaits them at the end of the rainbow.
How each person deals with cancer is symbolized through the many colors of the rainbow. We are leading the fight for acknowledgement and understanding of how cancer works, and most importantly, how to survive throughout its journey.
The primary reason for our existence is to annually honor the incredible health professionals who travel the cancer journey with every patient. We want to honor these “Hidden Hands” with an annual “Hidden Hands Pink Glove” award ceremony. These wonderful people have dedicated their lives to improving the lives of those who are fighting these cancer battles.
The relationship between a patient and a physician is based on trust! Medical professionals take an oath to “first do no harm”. However, this oath seems small in comparison to the amount of devotion and dedication these professionals use in caring for cancer patients. They have an ethical responsibility to place each patient’s welfare above their own needs. Their education and experience are used to make sound medical decisions on their patients’ behalf and advocating for their welfare. These incredible health professionals are in a class of their own and need to be recognized and honored regularly.
