A Workforce Development and Empowerment Program for Women Cancer Survivors
Painting in Pink is an innovative workforce development and empowerment program created by Goals and Rainbows Cancer Awareness Group. Designed specifically for women cancer survivors, and other women. This initiative provides hands-on training in painting and finishing skills while rebuilding confidence, restoring purpose, and creating pathways to meaningful employment.
Through a partnership with the Pink Hats on Purpose, participants will receive instruction from skilled trades professionals, exposure to union apprenticeship opportunities, and supportive mentorship from cancer survivor advocates and community leaders. Painting in Pink demonstrates that surviving cancer is not the end of a journey—it can be the beginning of a new career and a renewed sense of purpose.
